Tallinn is the capital of Estonia and is an historical city being traced back as far as 1154. The most noticeable part of the city is the central hill called Toompea which is covered with winding cobbled streets lined with medieval houses. Remains of the fortified city wall that surrounded the hill still remain including beautifully preserved guard towers.
